Scholarships

The Metropolitan Regional Arts Council's Management Training Fund Grant offers grants of up to $600 to provide training funds for the staff and volunteers of Minnesota nonprofit arts groups to attend management workshops, seminars or conferences.  Applicant organizations must be located in the seven-county metropolitan area with annual expenses less than $300,000.  Complete guidelines, information and application are available here: http://www.mrac.org/grants/MTFGrant.asp

The Society for the Arts in Healthcare, through a generous grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, is offering 10 scholarships of $500 each to Minnesota residents of greater Minnesota to allow them to attend the 21st international conference of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare. Scholarships, valued at $500 each, cover the general conference registration and include a $75 stipend to assist with travel costs. Applicants must be residents of Minnesota but reside outside of the Twin Cities. Applicants who are not accepted will be entered into a drawing for a free registration to the preconference artists' forum on April 28th. Applications are due to the Society's offices by April 19th (deadline extended from April 9th).
