'WHATEVER Makes You Happy' Drama and Arts Project (January - March 2012)

Project Assistant Intern - 3 days (flexible but must include Wednesdays)

WMYH is a new project that uses drama to support mental health and wellbeing in young people.  We will be launching the programme in February 2011, and beginning a flagship programme WHATEVER Youth Arts that works in partnership with child mental health services.  This role requires a highly motivated individual  to assist on all aspects of the programme from administrative and reception duties and supporting monitoring and evaluation processes, engaging in publicity and marketing campaigns, and acting as a specialist workshop assistant and pastoral support for vulnerable young people. Within this role successful candidates  will be asked to take significant responsibility for the launch of the WHATEVER Makes You Happy programme in February 2011.

Recent graduates or post-graduates with experience or particular interest in the arts and/or psychology/therapy would gain the most from these opportunities. Interns (18+)from other routes will also be considered. Candidates must have strong organisational, administrative, computer and verbal and written communication skills, good attention to detail and must be interested in working with young people.

Interviews will be held on Monday 19th December 2011.

Candidates should ideally be available to start the internship on the 10th January 2012.
