Job Posting: Program Director

CoachArt seeks a Program Director able to demonstrate a commitment to CoachArt’s mission, by providing direction and exceptional leadership in our Programs department. Program Director provides quality control and assurance measurements in all program areas supervising a staff of up to 5 Program Coordinators and up to 3 Volunteer Coordinators. Reporting to the Executive Director the Program Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to successfully manage CoachArt’s growing programs including: Outpatient Coaching/Mentoring, In Hospital Workshops and Special Events.

Job Duties:
• Strategic Management of Matching process which includes: application of interactive data systems, goal setting, resolving problems, and development of best practices leading to quarterly growth in number of youth served.
• Participation in the matching process by strategically “tweaking” the design of the quarterly system and matching students to coaches. Program Director is responsible for exploring and developing systems that allow for more expeditious yet efficient, matching.
• Propose new ideas for program innovation. Provide key input regarding program expansion.
• Responsible for Outpatient matching program growth projections and all program reporting.
• Help with recruitment of new program partners in strategic areas.
• Visit hospitals to maintain relationships with medical staff to encourage student referrals.
• Supervises Program Coordinators to help maintain strong relationships with program partners and healthcare partners.
• Manages program expenditures within budget, including lesson materials purchases and transportation.
• Works with Volunteer Coordinator to develop and implement new trainings to help volunteers become more proficient.
• Responsible for review of program marketing materials (for families and coaches).
• Responsible for assuring the integrity of Salesforce program database through quality control of data and management of content.
• Work with Outreach Director to oversee program evaluation and research protocols.
• Assist with program evaluation process by assuring surveys and measurements are adhered to by program staff.
• Responsible for maintaining all program-related portions of the CoachArt website by providing updates for web designer.
• Management of program events and finds new opportunities in collaboration with Outreach Director to present events to varied populations of chronically ill children.
• Serve as liaison for Programs Committee of Board.
• Assuring policies & procedures are set and maintained to accurately reflect processes that are in place.

fun and enthusiastic zest for the mission. Communication is also key – verbal and written. Knowledge and/or understanding of interactive web applications and database systems
like Raiser’s Edge and SalesForce is imperative. Bachelor’s degree required.
